Chicken & Sausage Pizza

 Chicken & Sausage Pizza

                                         

Ingredients:

1 pound pizza dough (how to make dough)
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup cooked and shredded chicken
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled sausage
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions:


Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the desired thickness.



Transfer the dough to a pizza pan or baking sheet.

Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges.





Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

Add cooked and shredded chicken and crumbled sausage on top of the cheese.

Add chopped onion, green and red pepper, and sliced mushrooms on top of the chicken and sausage.


Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the toppings.

Drizzle olive oil over the top of the pizza.



Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
